Adult trial privacy notice

Updated 15 October 2026

The Contemporary Choir Ltd is responsible for the personal information described here. Contact info@thecontemporarychoir.co.uk about your information, to withdraw measurement consent or to exercise your rights. This notice covers our website, adult free-trial enquiries and optional advertising measurement.

Your trial enquiry

We collect your name, email address, phone number, preferred choir location, confirmation that you are at least 16, and any message you choose to provide. We use these details to answer your enquiry, arrange your trial and communicate about it. Our lawful basis is taking steps at your request before a possible membership contract. The details marked required on the form are needed to arrange your trial; optional advertising consent is not required. Please avoid including sensitive personal information in your message.

Squarespace hosts our website. monday.com provides the embedded form and stores enquiry records. Our email service handles correspondence, and Calendly handles trial-date bookings when you follow the booking link. Freshchat processes conversations if you use website chat. These providers process the information needed to provide their services. Membership administration and payments have additional purposes beyond this trial-enquiry notice.

Optional Facebook and Instagram measurement

Only if you tick the separate optional measurement box, we send Meta a record that you submitted a trial enquiry, using Zapier and Meta's Conversions API. This includes the submission time, enquiry-page address, a unique event identifier, and a one-way hashed version of your email and phone number. Meta can match these coded details with its users, so they remain personal information. We use this to measure and improve our advertising. Our lawful basis for this optional sharing is your consent.

If you also accept advertising cookies, available Meta browser and click identifiers may accompany the event. We do not invent missing identifiers. Your free-text message, age confirmation, attendance and membership outcome are not included in this Lead event. Declining measurement does not affect your trial.

See Meta's privacy policy for its matching, advertising, retention and international processing practices. Meta may use information under that policy alongside information it already holds.

Cookies and withdrawing consent

Use Accept all, Decline all or Manage cookies in our banner. Advertising and analytics cookies are optional and restricted until you agree. Change your choices through Cookie Preferences. The trial form remains available if you decline advertising cookies. Changing your advertising-cookie choice reloads the embedded form, so make that choice before entering your details.

The form's measurement checkbox is a separate consent choice. To withdraw it, email info@thecontemporarychoir.co.uk and identify the enquiry email address. We will record the withdrawal and stop further measurement transfers for that enquiry. Changing cookie preferences controls future cookie use but does not itself update the consent already recorded with your enquiry. Withdrawal does not affect processing that was lawful before withdrawal; information already received by Meta is handled under its privacy policy. You can also exercise your rights with Meta.

How long information is kept

We keep enquiry details while needed to respond, arrange and follow up on your trial. If you become a member, information needed for that relationship is retained for membership administration. For enquiries that do not progress, retention is based on whether follow-up is still reasonably expected, any unresolved request or complaint, and relevant legal obligations. Information should be deleted or anonymised once those purposes end.

Advertising identifiers are needed only for measurement delivery, checking attribution and resolving delivery errors; they are not needed for ordinary trial administration. Consent and delivery records are kept for as long as necessary to show your choice, honour withdrawal and prevent duplicate sends, taking account of any unresolved complaint or legal requirement. Integration troubleshooting records are also subject to the provider's retention cycle: Zapier explains its retention and processing here. These are retention criteria, rather than a promise of automatic deletion on a fixed date.

International processing

Our providers may process information outside the UK, including in the United States, Europe and Israel. Their applicable transfer arrangements include adequacy decisions, the UK Extension to the EU-US Data Privacy Framework for certified recipients, and contractual safeguards where required. Details and ways to obtain safeguards are available from Squarespace, monday.com, Zapier and Meta. Contact us for information about the providers used for your enquiry.

Your rights

You can ask for access, correction, deletion or restriction of your information and, where applicable, a portable copy. You may object to processing where the law provides that right and withdraw consent at any time. Contact info@thecontemporarychoir.co.uk. These rights depend on the circumstances and lawful basis. We do not use this trial tracking to make solely automated decisions with legal or similarly significant effects on you.

You can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office.
