The Contemporary Choir Warwickshire
Sing with us in Stratford.
Pop, rock, musical theatre & Disney. Tuesdays, 7:30–9pm.
Our original choir began in Stratford Upon Avon in 2018 and has grown into a welcoming musical family. Join friendly voices, sing songs you love and leave rehearsals smiling — whether you’re an experienced singer or just starting out.
Songs you love. Confidence that grows.
A setlist with something for everyone.
From Adele, Queen and Justin Timberlake to The Lion King, Frozen and Rent, there’s something for everyone. Musical Director Paul Asbridge writes every arrangement especially for our choir — full of harmonies, energy and goosebump moments.
Find your voice. At your pace.
You’ll sing alongside a supportive section of sopranos, altos, tenors or basses. Every rehearsal starts with a full vocal warm-up, followed by practical guidance on breathing, diction, resonance and dynamics. You’ll never be asked to sing alone unless you’d like to.
Your choir leader
Professional vocalist and vocal coach Melissa Asbridge leads every rehearsal with warmth, encouragement and plenty of personality. As a lead singer with Jam Hot Showband, she brings international performance experience to help you build confidence and enjoy your voice.
Take it to the stage.
Selected performances bring the excitement of singing alongside a live band, with some of the UK’s finest musicians. It’s a chance to share what you’ve learnt, make memories with friends and experience our songs in a whole new way.
Your Tuesday starts here.
